SPAWAR Systems Center Atlantic intends to negotiate a sole-source contractestimated in the amount of $159,285.00 to General Dynamics C4 Systems, themanufacturer of the Taclane Micro Systems (16-TACLANE Micro KG-175D, P/NMC-10901-2, 3-TACLANE Micro KG-175D Rack Mount Shelf Kit, P/N MC-106A).General Dynamics C4 Systems is the sole manufacturer of these components andhold the proprietary rights. This equipment is used in fielding with theTurbulantwave System and meets specific critical design, functional andoperational requirements and environmental requirements necessary for fleetmission support. SPAWARSYSCEN-Atlantic has been requested to procure thisequipment for the military warfighter. General Dynamics C4 Systems is the only source capable of providing therequested items.
