Please note that the description of the requirement in this RFI is at a very high level. The purpose of this plan is to: 1)Increase revenue contribution of branded packaging and mailing supplies. 2) Provide added convenience to USPS customers. 3) Decrease overall costs of program administration. 4) Contribute to a stronger, more consistent and positive USPS retail image. The supplier(s) will provide customer service to USPS retail units; production, warehousing and distribution of USPS ReadyPost? branded shipping supplies. Suppliers must follow the USPS Corporate Signature Guideline and ReadyPost Logo Sheet Guidelines attached to the RFI. The supplier(s) must demonstrate world-class production, warehouse and fulfillment operations, comprehensive information systems, an established just-in-time inventory system capabilities, with software, a commitment to quality to conduct efficient and economical retail merchandising techniques that keep items in stock and available for purchase. Only U.S. companies will be entertained. Suppliers interested in participating in this requirement may request an RFI package via email from Joseph A. Shively at joseph.a.shively@usps.gov.
