A--Aero-Optical Evaluation Center Operation, Maintenance, Engineering, and Test Support

Reference Numbered Notes 22 and 26 This synopsis is issued to provide notice of intent to negotiate a sole-source contract with CUBRC, Inc., P.O. Box 1644, Buffalo, NY, 14225, CAGE Code: 8Y166, via written solicitation number W31P4Q-08-R-0272. Sole-source acquisition for this requirement is based on statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition as described under 10 U.S.C. 2304(C)(1), as implemented by paragraphs 6.302-1 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) entitled - only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The contractor is to provide Test Support, Basic Operation and Maintenance Support, and Contract Management Services for the Aero-Optics Evaluation Center (A OEC). The primary objective of this requirement is to provide for the testing of interceptor/flight vehicle hardware at the AOEC to include aero-optics, aero-thermal, and aero-propulsive effects. The anticipated award will be a Cost-Plus-Fixed Fee Level-of -Effort, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract, with a 5 year period of performance. The period of performance for each awarded task will be determined by the requiring element and the Contracting Officer. FOB is Destination, Redstone Ars enal, AL.
