The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) plans to release a solicitation for the Oblique Flying Wing (OFW) Advanced Technology Demonstration program around June 6, 2005. This program aims to broaden the design possibilities for future aircraft, focusing on missions that require both supersonic speeds and long endurance. The OFW initiative will address significant challenges in aerodynamic control, structural design, and propulsion integration by developing a tailless, supersonic demonstrator aircraft, alongside ground testing of key subsystem concepts. The program will evaluate mission requirements, mature enabling technologies, validate design processes, and resolve technical issues through flight demonstrations. Prospective participants are encouraged to obtain the solicitation from the DARPA website and submit inquiries via the provided contact methods. The program is managed by Tom Beutner, reachable by phone or email, with administrative support from Mark D. Bennington. The solicitation falls under NAICS code 541330 and is associated with the Department of Defense, specifically through a DARPA office located in Arlington, Virginia. Additional details and updates will be accessible through the official DARPA website starting early June 2005.

The Defense Advanced Research Agency (DARPA) intends to release a Program Solicitation for the Oblique Flying Wing (OFW) Advanced Technology Demonstration program on or about June 6, 2005. The goal of the OFW program is to expand the design space for future aircraft concepts, particularly for those missions that demand both supersonic speed and long endurance. The OFW program seeks to tackle the most daunting problems in aerodynamic control, aero-structural design, and propulsion integration with a supersonic, tailless, X-Plane demonstrator, along with ground testing of operationally representative sub-system concepts. The OFW program will evaluate missions and design challenges, mature critical enabling technologies, validate design methodologies and address technical issues that require flight demonstrations. The DARPA web page (www.darpa.mil) will host the solicitation and other program information on or about June 6, 2005. Prospective offerors are invited to obtain a copy of the solicitation and submit questions/comments through the email link provided at this web page. The DARPA Program Manager is Tom Beutner, ph. 571-218-4833; email tbeutner@darpa.mil.

Intrinsic Market Resilience (IMR)
Solicitation # DARPA-PS-26-138
The Intrinsic Market Resilience (IMR) program, solicited by the DARPA Information Processing Techniques Office under DARPA-PS-26-138, is a 32-month initiative spanning Fiscal Years 2027 through 2029. The program aims to protect essential U.S. economic sectors from systemic risks and adversarial attacks targeting the public interfaces of modern electronic markets. By combining Large Language Model (LLM) automation with rigorous mathematical modeling, IMR seeks to develop tools that automatically translate informal regulatory and technical specifications into formal models to identify hidden weaknesses and recommend structural repairs. The work is divided into three technical areas: TA1 focuses on modeling and analysis, TA2 on resiliency and repair, and TA3 on establishing test and evaluation frameworks to validate the outputs of the first two areas. This procurement is conducted as an Other Transaction (OT) for Prototype Agreement under 10 U.S.C. 4022, with anticipated award ranges of 4.5 to 5 million dollars for TA1, 2.5 to 3 million dollars for TA2, and 5 to 6.5 million dollars for TA3. Eligible participants include small businesses, nonprofit research institutions, and nontraditional defense contractors. Proposers must adhere to strict security requirements, including CMMC Level 1 compliance at award and CMMC Level 2 status or a detailed compliance plan. All information must be handled according to NIST 800-171 and DFARS 252.204-7012 standards. Evaluation is based on technical approach, qualifications, technology transition viability, price, and security, with a particular emphasis on innovation and the feasibility of the proposed technical solution.
