The Naval Air Systems Command plans to modify an existing Blanket Order Agreement with Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation to provide specialized technical guidance and perform evaluation and validation of aero modeling software. This effort focuses on correlating the High Performance Rotor Design for the UH-60A Aircraft and developing an appropriate software model for the H-53 Heavy Lift Replacement helicopter. Due to Sikorsky's unique knowledge, experience, and proprietary technical data, the contract modification will be sole sourced to them to ensure timely completion of these technical tasks. The contract, identified as delivery order 0004 under solicitation N00019-03-G-0003, is managed by the Naval Air Systems Command, based in Patuxent River, Maryland. The primary contractor, Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation, is located in Stratford, Connecticut.
