Accessibility Audits, Selected Locations

In 2021, Council approved the first Accessibility Plan for the Municipality of East Hants and this Plan was later updated in 2025. The Plan ‘Accessible East Hants’ outlined how the Municipality planned to meet the needs of those who face barriers to accessibility by identifying barriers and setting out action items to remove them. One of the key elements to the current Plan is to identify barriers to accessibility due to the built environment of municipal buildings, parks and infrastructure. To understand some of the barriers that exist, the Plan identifies a need to undertake an Accessibility Audit of select municipal buildings. This RFP seeks to identify potential Vendors who could perform these audits.
