AdaCore Software License Renewal Subscription

This is a combined synopsis and solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 - Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Request for Quotation (RFQ) number is N66604-17-Q-2852. Incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-88. The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport (NUWCDIVNPT) has a requirement for the renewal purchase of AdaCore Technologies Software Maintenance and License Subscription. NUWCDIVNPT intends to issue a Firm-Fixed Price contract for the following purchase: AdaCore Software Maintenance Renewal and License Subscription for one-year consisting of P/N T25: Ada/VX6PPCWIN; P/N T25: Ada/VXPPCWIN; and P/N T25: Ada/X86WIN (Quantity 1). This procurement will be processed using FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The solicitation is a sole source procurement to AdaCore Technologies. Ada Core is the sole source provider of GNAT Pro, GNAT Pro tools and support maintenance and any upgrades to the GNAT Pro subscriptions. The software and maintenance renewals are proprietary to AdaCore Technologies. The Period of Performance for this procurement is from 29 June 2017 to 28 June 2018. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 541511. The Small Business Size Standard is $27,500,000.00. The Government intends to award a single FFP purchase order to AdaCore Technologies. This solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be posted to the FedBizOpps. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
