Full Description

U.S. Forest Service requires aerial imagery services for direct digital acquisition of leaf-off, snow free, 30cm resolution, 4-band coverage of approximately 1,157 square miles of the Allegheny National Forest, Pennsylvania. Imagery acquisition must be accomplished using a digital sensor that collects four-band multi-spectral natural color (RGB) and color infrared (CIR) simultaneously. The project will have a flying season of March 15 through April 15, 2015. Upon contract award, the contractor is required to create and submit the proposed flight plan for Government review prior to the notice to proceed. Contract deliverables include: uncompressed, 4-band, 8-bits per band color corrected GeoTIFFs (stereo imagery), stereo block files, orthorectified image tiles, project mosaic, project geodatabase, and other data files due approximately 60-90 days after the end of the flying season. The solicitation may include an option for increased quantity. The solicitation, number (RFQ) AG-8447-S-15-0002, will be issued on or about Friday, January 23, 2015, with quotations due on or about Monday, February 23, 2015. This solicitation is a total Small Business Set-Aside issued under FAR part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, and is subject to the Availability of Funds clause (FAR 52.232-18). All responsible small businesses may submit a quotation that shall be considered. The small business size standard for NAICS Code 541922 is $7 Million.
