AI Contract Overview
The Department of Defense is conducting a Sources Sought notice to gather industry input for the planning and potential procurement of the Alaska Range Combat Training Integrated Communications and Support (ARCTICS) II program under the Pacific Air Forces. This effort is strictly for market research and not a formal request for quotes or proposals. The initiative aims to support integrated communications and related services starting around January 2029, with a draft Performance Work Statement outlining detailed service requirements. The government is seeking feedback specifically on the proposed draft Contract Line Item Number (CLIN) structure, which currently includes a firm-fixed-price baseline for operations and maintenance labor, and cost-plus-fixed-fee arrangements for travel, materials, and surge-related activities, with some pre-priced priced line items for special projects. Interested parties are requested to provide company information and offer comments or questions, particularly regarding the clarity and adequacy of the CLIN pricing format. Feedback gathered from respondents will help refine the acquisition pricing strategy and resolve potential concerns ahead of formal solicitation. The solicitation is linked with NAICS code 541330 and is managed by the office located at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii, with the place of performance designated as Eielson Air Force Base, Alaska. Responses are due by June 30, 2026, and inquiries can be directed to the primary contact at the provided Department of Defense email address.
