AI Contract Overview
The Naval Air Systems Command plans to award a sole-source, cost-plus-fixed-fee task order to Raytheon under the existing Corporate Basic Ordering Agreement to procure the ALR-67(V)3 Multi-Channel Analog-to-Digital Application Specific Integrated Circuit, a critical component for the F/A-18 and EA-18G radar systems. Raytheon is the exclusive designer, developer, manufacturer, and supplier of this ASIC and holds all necessary technical data required for its production and integration, with no other entity capable of meeting the government’s requirements. The action is justified under 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1) and FAR 6.302-1 because no other source can provide the specific technology, and the government does not possess a complete drawing package with Government Purpose Rights. This procurement is not a competitive solicitation, and no offers will be accepted in response to this notice; all inquiries must be directed to the designated Contract Specialist. The opportunity for subcontracting is available but must be coordinated directly with Raytheon. The task order is scheduled to be issued under the solicitation number N00019-25-RFPREQ-TPM265-0465, with responses due by August 1, 2026, and performance expected to occur in Goleta, California, while the contracting office is located in Patuxent River, Maryland.
