VHA Regional Procurement Office East R&D is issuing this Request for Information ( RFI ) to solicit proposals to support research of Miniaturized CO2 Sensor Prototype Development and Novel Physiologic Gas Monitoring. Information collected from this RFI will serve as market research.

This notice is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government nor will the Government pay for information solicited. Respondents may be notified of the results of the evaluation. FAILURE TO PROVIDE THE REQUESTED INFORMATION OR ANSWER ANY QUESTION WILL BE UNDERSTOOD BY VA TO BE A STATEMENT THAT THE VENDOR RESPONDING TO THIS NOTICE IS UNABLE TO PROVIDE THAT PARTICULAR SERVICE OR COMPLY WITH THAT REQUIREMENT. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code being considered for this procurement is 541715 Research and Development in the Physical, Engineering, and Life Sciences (except Nanotechnology and Biotechnology), and the Product Service Code (PSC) is AN12 Health R&d Services; Health Care Services; Applied Research. The Small Business Size Standard is 1000 employees. Responses to this notice shall include the following: 1. Company name 2. SAM UEI number 3. Company s address, 4. Point of Contact information (i.e. title, phone number and email address) 5. Company s capability to meet this requirement and any pertinent information which demonstrates the company s ability to meet the above requirements. 6.
