SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS AND SITE VISIT SCHEDULE This is a Sources Sought Synopsis announcement to be used for preliminary market research information purposes. It is also a site visit notice so that prospective contractors can see the site before the area is inaccessible due to snow. This is not a solicitation for proposal - do not send pricing information. Market research is being performed to determine the best method to advertise the Government's needs. Responses received will determine the type of solicitation to issue. No reimbursement will be made for any costs incurred, associated with: providing information in response to this synopsis, attending the site visit, or any follow up information requests. No funds are presently available for this effort. The government reserves the right to cancel this sources sought at any time. The Grand Mesa, Uncompahgre and Gunnison National Forests in Colorado anticipates soliciting for and awarding a contract for the Angel Creek Campground Remodel. This project will include: removal and installation of culverts, excavation and installation of vault toilets, aggregate surfacing, construction of new camp sites, installation of picnic tables and fire rings, seeding of areas, installation of signs, and roadway reconditioning. SITE VISIT SCHEDULED (WEATHER PERMITTING) Date: October 22, 2019 Time: 10:00 a.m. Travel Directions: From Ouray, Colorado, travel south on US-550 for 0.6 miles, turn right on Camp Bird Road and continue for 2.0 miles. Turn right at the entrance for Angel Creek Campground. Total travel time from Ouray is 11 minutes or 2.8 miles. RSVP: Anyone planning the site visit must notify Daris Matos at daris.matos@usda.gov or phone 970-874-6635 no later than 12:00 noon Mountain Time, on October 21, 2019.
