AI Contract Overview
The Naval Air Warfare Center, Weapons Division, China Lake, intends to award a sole-source, firm fixed price contract to Gorman Software for the renewal of one-year application support and maintenance for custom Aras 35 and Aras 32 modules currently in use. This action is justified under FAR 6.103.1 as a non-competitive acquisition, and no request for quotes will be issued. The contract is specifically targeted at continuing support for a proprietary module, and only Gorman Software is being considered for this renewal. However, interested parties may submit a capability statement by 9AM PST on June 2, 2026, referencing solicitation number N6893626SIMACQD0AH2900007 to demonstrate their ability to perform the work without compromising quality, accuracy, reliability, or schedule. All responses must be emailed to Andrea M. Farrell at the provided government address. All potential responders must be registered in SAM.gov with an active status prior to any potential award, as the government cannot award contracts to entities with inactive registrations, and processing SAM updates can take 10 to 15 days. Additionally, contractors must be certified through the Defense Logistics Information Services Joint Certification Program to access Controlled Unclassified Information or Export Controlled Information. Access to such information is restricted to a single designated Data Custodian per CAGE code, who must have a pre-approved DD 2345 form on file with the Defense Logistics Agency. Contractors are responsible for coordinating with their CAGE code’s Data Custodian to obtain the necessary CUI access prior to engaging with the government on this requirement.
