The Naval Air Systems Command intends to issue a firm-fixed-price order to Rockwell Collins Government Systems under Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-08-G-0016. This procurement is for various components and assemblies for AN/ARC-210(V) EP radios used on E-2D and A-10 platforms, including Link 11 Smart Mounts, HPA Mount Assemblies, Antenna Adapters, Lower Antenna Adapter Plates, and RCU Cable Assemblies. This acquisition is being conducted on a sole source basis because Rockwell Collins is the sole developer of the ARC-210 product family and holds the proprietary rights to the equipment. Consequently, the government has determined that no other source can satisfy the agency requirements. While the primary contract is awarded to Rockwell Collins, potential subcontracting opportunities may be available through the company's Cedar Rapids location.
