AI Contract Overview

Architect-Engineer (A&E) firms are required to submit an updated Standard Form 254 (SF254) annually to the Architect-Engineer Contract Administration Support System (ACASS). ACASS is utilized by Department of Defense (DOD) authorized construction agencies, such as the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Naval Facilities Engineering Command, and National Guard, as well as federal agencies like Veterans Affairs and the General Services Administration, to assist in source selection and evaluate past performance history and qualifications. The SF254 contains critical firm qualification details and must be signed and submitted for tracking within the ACASS system, which also helps identify firms eligible for non-competitive awards. Updated SF254 forms should be mailed to the Contractor Appraisal Information Center at the Portland District of the Army Corps of Engineers. Firms not currently registered in ACASS can apply for a number by submitting a completed and signed SF254 to the same address. This process ensures firms remain compliant with federal regulations and are properly considered for relevant contract opportunities. For additional information, firms can contact the ACASS team by phone as provided in the communication.

General Info

A&E firms must annually submit updated SF254 to ACASS for DoD contract eligibility and evaluation.
