The GSA intends to issue a draft solicitation for the Architecture and Operations Contract Support (AOCS) program. The initial award requires the contractor to maintain and operate the current Federal Procurement Data System, (FPDS) and to build an architecture that will provide for shared services across all of the nine Integrated Acquisition Environment, (IAE) systems. The contract will have options to bring other IAE systems under the Architecture. GSA anticipates significant dollars savings will be realized by the consolidation of business services such as log on, hosting, reporting, security and help desk.
