AS-NEEDED GEOTECHNICAL CONSULTING SERVICES

The County of San Diego is soliciting Statements of Qualifications (RFSQ 13470) for as-needed geotechnical consulting services to be performed in San Diego, California. This is a qualifications-based selection process where pricing is not evaluated during the initial phase. Instead, the County will rank firms based on the best value, prioritizing organizational experience with similar projects, small local business participation, project team continuity, and the effectiveness of quality assurance and quality control processes. Additional considerations include the offeror's cultural competency and the sustainability impact of their proposed approach. Following the ranking process, the County will negotiate fair and reasonable fees with the highest-ranked firms. The resulting agreement will be an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract where specific deliverables are established via individual task orders. Selected contractors must adhere to high professional standards and provide certified field technicians when required.
