Subject to FAR Clause 52.215-3, entitled "Request for Information or Solicitation for Planning Purposes," this announcement constitutes a Sources Sought for information and planning purposes. Naval Supply Center (NAVSUP) Fleet Logistics Center (FLC) Norfolk is conducting market research to determine industry capability and interest to provide Audio Engineer Instructor Support Services to the Naval School of Music (NAVSOM), in Virginia Beach, VA.


This is a sources sought notice ONLY. There is NO solicitation at this time. Requests for a solicitation in response to this notice will not be answered or taken for consideration. This notice is issued for the sole purpose of conducting market research in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS).


A Firm Fixed Priced (FFP) contract consisting of one (1), twelve (12)-month base period and three (3), twelve (12)-month option years is anticipated. The performance is anticipated to begin 24 September 2026 and continue through 23 March 2031. Included in the period of performance is the Government’s option to extend by six (6) months in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) clause 52.217-8.


It is anticipated that this requirement, if solicited, will be under NAICS code 611699, and the small business size standard is $16.5M.
