Full Description

The Contracting Center of Excellence (CCE) intends to negotiate a sole source award for the Automated Messaging Handling System (AMHS) with Telos Corporation, 19886 Ashburn Road, Ashburn VA 20147-2358. The AMHS currently supporting the Army Operation s Center (AOC) Crisis Action Team (CAT). The TELOS AMHS is a critical component of the AOCs ability to receive message traffic and respond to Combatant Commanders engaged in OIF and OEF. Additionally the AMHS is used to rapidly gather all official messag e traffic on a given topic for analysis and reporting to the Army and DoD Leadership as well as to Congress. The estimated date for this service is May 1, 2007. This announcement is in accordance with FAR 6.302. Information received will normally be c onsidered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
