AZURE LICENSE (NEW)

The Department of Defense, through the Naval Information Warfare Center Pacific, has established a single-award Blanket Purchase Agreement under the Consolidated Enterprise Technology Agreement to acquire Microsoft software licenses, Software Assurance, and Azure consumption. This 8(a) sole source award, valued at an estimated 3.4 billion dollars, aims to consolidate software acquisition across the Department of the Navy and Department of Defense to reduce total ownership costs and eliminate procurement duplication. The scope includes perpetual and subscription licenses for Office 365, Windows Server, and SQL Server, supporting on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments across the Naval Enterprise Network and Marine Corps Enterprise Network. The period of performance runs from June 1, 2021, through May 31, 2026, with the primary place of performance located at Port Hueneme CBC Base, California. Award is based on a Low Price Technically Acceptable basis, with price as the dominant factor provided the offer complies with the agreement terms. Critical requirements include strict adherence to DoD cybersecurity mandates, such as the Secure Host Baseline and Zero Trust Architecture, and the mandatory use of specific security tools including Azure Sentinel, Microsoft Defender ATP, and Microsoft Intune to maintain Impact Level 5 security compliance.
