NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE The Department of Veterans Affairs, Mid-Atlantic Health Care Network VISN 6 hereby give notice of intent to award a sole source, Firm Fixed Price Contract on or about September 8, 2010 to the Medical University of South Carolina, as implemented by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other suppliers or services will satisfy agency requirements. Market research determined this contractor is the only source capable of providing the required services of Advisory and Assistance in support of establishing a Rural Connections Knowledge Repository a Web-based resource that will be accessed by Rural Community Providers and VA Providers. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. Interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities to respond to this requirement no later than Noon, September 8, 2010, local time. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered for the purpose of determining to conduct a competitive procurement.
