Provide design and renovations necessary to complete fire alarm upgrades to building 1480. New fire alarm upgrades shall also include any work necessary to support the FY26 CIP MINCON B1480 addition. Per email correspondence with LCDR Hill dated 01/14/25, work shall be executed per the following schedule: PWD agrees to support a DB effort with Q1/Q2 Award with a Q3 design complete and construction start date. Timeline for planning below: oPrepare RFP 8/1/2025 - 10/30/2025 oAward RFP 11/1/2025 - 1/31/2026 oAE for DB CTR designs FA system 2/1/2026 - 4/30/2026 oMOD IFC's into contract 5/1/2026 - 5/30/2026 oStart construction 6/1/2026 - FY28 Justification : Per the NAVFAC FPE, NSWCDD understands upgrades to the existing B1480 fire alarm system is necessary in order to accommodate the FY26 CIP MINCON building addition at B1480 swibbed 2/5/25, programmed for fy26 Q2, E2, L84
