The City of Tallahassee is seeking qualified contractors interested in providing all services, labor, materials, equipment and supplies necessary to provide such products and/or services as outlined in this document and attached technical specification for the Backup Control Center Construction. Electric and Gas has identified a need for an updated Backup Electric Control Center to support restoration operations following a major storm. This facility will allow for the utility to effectively control the Electric Grid, and house employees should we have a situation again like the COVID pandemic. Contractors shall be licensed by the State of Florida. The license should be applicable to the requirements and regulations under State Statutes. Each individual actually performing the work must possess a valid and subsisting permit issued by the State. See attached documents for more information.
