Full Description

The response date for this solicitation is extended to September 4, 2013. The following information is shared with interested offerors: 1. LC&D Server Provider: - SOW Paragraph 2.1, states the "existing" LC&D Server will be used 2. LC&D Server Configuration: - SOW Paragraph 2.2.2, states only the static IP Address will need to be reconfigured by the contractor 3. LC&D Server Purpose: - The current Lighting Control and Design (LC&D) Server located in the Basement Telecom Room B018 is currently connected to a dial-line modem that is used to remotely access the system. The LC&D Server in Room B018 and the LC&D Controller on the 4th Floor will be migrated to the new GSA network, the dial-line and modem will be removed by LB&B, and all future access to the LC&D Server by LB&B will be via the Citrix environment using GSA ENT Account Security Authentication Credentials (i.e. ENT Login/Password). The Citrix environment can be accessed from any government or civilian computer and requires no software middle-ware/applications/GUIs, only an Internet Explorer Browser. The migration of the LC&D Server to the GSA Network is required to ensure compliance with GSA Order CIO P 2100.1H, GSA Information Technology (IT) Security Policy. 4. Affect on Current Configuration: - The only technical change to the current LC&D Server and Controller configurations are the Static IP Address, Subnet Mask, and Default Gateway. The only procedural change will be how LB&B remotely accesses the LC&D Server. The existing cabling from the Controller on the 4th Floor to the LC&D Server in Room B018 will be retained. The only cabling change will be moving the existing cable from the LC&D Server to the existing dial-in modem to the new GSA Switch. The existing cable from the LC&D Server to the dial-in modem can also be retained. The new GSA Switch will be placed in the same existing wall mounted rack in Room B018 as the existing dial-in modem. No new wall mounted network racks will need to be installed to execute this change.
