Bid No. 27-03 Automotive Materials, Parts and Supplies

The San Bernardino City Unified School District is soliciting bids for the procurement of automotive materials, parts, and supplies to support its Maintenance and Operations Department. This as-needed contract is awarded to the lowest responsible bidder and may be granted to one or multiple vendors. The initial term is for one year from the date of Board approval, with the possibility of two additional one-year extensions, for a maximum total term of three years. Bids must be submitted electronically via the OpenGov Procurement portal by September 18, 2026. Selected vendors must maintain a San Bernardino City Business License and adhere to strict delivery requirements, including shipping materials within seven business days of a purchase order and delivering items F.O.B. Destination to the District Warehouse. All costs for delivery and packing are to be borne by the bidder. Payment is issued within thirty days of receiving correct invoices, which must be submitted within sixty calendar days of delivery. Required submission documents include a W-9, vendor application, non-collusion affidavit, and various certifications regarding equal opportunity, worker's compensation, and debarment. The District maintains sole authority over the acceptance of proposed substitutions and the final inspection of all delivered goods.
