The contract is planned for three years, with two optional one-year renewals, and requires consistent pricing throughout the contract duration. The technician performing the work must be Steinway certified, and proof of certification must be submitted with the bid. The contractor is also expected to provide an hourly rate that covers travel and emergency call-outs. Bids will be evaluated based on responsiveness to specifications, with only primary bids accepted and multiple or alternate bids rejected. The contract will adhere to Snow College’s standard terms and conditions, which emphasize compliance with applicable laws, ethical conduct, recordkeeping, and non-discrimination policies, and include provisions for termination and debarment. The procurement process is governed by Utah’s regulations, and the selected vendor will be responsible for delivering high-quality, certified services that meet the college’s standards for maintaining its valuable piano assets.
