Bio Safety Medical Cabinets

The Phoenix Area Indian Health Service, under the Department of Health and Human Services, is conducting market research for the procurement of two LabGard NU-540-400 Class II Type A2 BioSafety Cabinets with specific model NU-540-400UB10, accompanied by two motorized adjustable base stands with casters, 4-foot 115V, model NU-500-172, and two initial certifications by Advanced Testing and Certification, all to be delivered with white glove in-lab service. These cabinets are critical for protecting laboratory personnel from hazardous and aerosol-generating specimens, ensuring specimen integrity, maintaining regulatory compliance, and preventing contamination that could disrupt diagnostic testing operations. All equipment must be new, with no remanufactured or gray market items allowed, and must be installed with proper certification to meet safety standards. The vendor must be an OEM authorized dealer, distributor, or reseller, with written authorization from the manufacturer included in the response, and must provide a five-year parts and labor warranty covering HEPA filters. The procurement is an Indian Small Business Economic Enterprise (ISBEE) set-aside, requiring responders to certify as Native American-owned small businesses in accordance with SBA size standards, and to submit supporting documentation verifying their socio-economic status.
