Blood Collection Mixer

The Department of National Defence is seeking to establish a National Individual Standing Offer for Blood Collection Mixers to be supplied to Canadian Forces Health Services clinics across Canada. This arrangement will permit the clinics to procure the mixers, along with operator training and technical service training, on an as-needed basis. The mixers play a critical role in supporting the Emergency Donor Panel by enabling the collection of Fresh Whole Blood in operational settings, ensuring the process is conducted safely, accurately, and efficiently to meet the unique challenges of deployed military medical operations. The Standing Offer will remain in effect until March 31, 2031, allowing ongoing access to required equipment and services over an extended period. The procurement documents can be submitted in either of Canada’s official languages, and the government reserves the right to engage in negotiations with suppliers as needed. The contract solicitation was posted on May 11, 2026, with a response deadline of May 29, 2026. The contract is managed by the Department of National Defence under federal jurisdiction, and inquiries can be directed to the designated contracting authority.
