AI Contract Overview
This contract seeks proposals from county and tribal agencies within specific regions of Wisconsin (Regions 1, 2, and 4 through 7) to deliver the Brighter Futures Initiative (BFI) Substance Use Prevention Program. The program emphasizes promoting healthy families and youth, supporting school success, ensuring youth safety, and facilitating positive development from adolescence to adulthood through evidence-based prevention strategies aligned with legislative outcomes. Notably, programs serving Milwaukee County (Region 3) are excluded, as a separate RFP has been issued for that area. Multiple contracts are anticipated to be awarded, with the primary responders required to be county or tribal agencies, though joint responses from multiple agencies are permitted. The solicitation was posted on October 10, 2024, with a deadline for responses set for December 12, 2024. The contract values range from $500,000 to $2,000,000, and the Wisconsin Department of Children and Families will oversee the awards. Interested parties are advised to direct questions via email to Megan Doll at the provided contact information rather than through the Wisconsin eSupplier platform. The initiative aims to foster positive youth development and prevent substance use through collaborative, evidence-based efforts across the specified regions.
