Next Generation Bomb Hoist
Solicitation # N6833526R1012
Solicitation N6833526R1012 is a request for proposal issued by the NAVAIR Warfare Center Aircraft Division for a new Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract to manufacture and deliver Next Generation Bomb Hoist (NGBH) support equipment. The scope of work includes the production of 4 Pilot Production Units (PPUs) and up to 940 full rate production units distributed over a five-year period, along with associated technical data and reports. This procurement is a total small business set-aside, requiring both the prime contractor and all subcontractors to be small businesses without exception. The government will award the contract based on best value, utilizing a trade-off process where technical capability and past performance are significantly more important than price. Key technical requirements include compliance with ANSI/ISO/ASQ Q9001-2008 quality standards, specific welding certifications, and the ability to manufacture Critical Safety Items such as the Cable Assembly. Additionally, CMMC Level 2 self-certification is a material condition of award. Proposals must be submitted electronically via the Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE) by November 16, 2026, at 4:00 PM EST. Pricing for production units is structured using a step-ladder model across five quantity tiers.
