Building 5077 Garage Door Installation

This contract is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside solicitation for the procurement, installation, and electrical integration of two 20 ft x 20 ft interior coil weathered service doors, specifically the Cornell Iron Works Model ESD10 or an approved equal, at Building 5077 on Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, Texas. Each door must feature a 22-gauge galvanized steel curtain with a standard gray factory finish, an extruded mill-finish aluminum bottom bar with astragal, a lintel brush seal, single-guide weathering, motor operation with photo-eye safety sensors, and a 20 PSF wind load rating. The contractor is responsible for installing a dedicated 120-volt, 20-amp electrical circuit and disconnect switch for each motor, running conduit for control switches and motion sensors, and pulling all necessary control wiring. Completion of all work is required within 45 calendar days of contract award during normal duty hours, Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays. A comprehensive three-year warranty covering both parts and labor is mandatory, and the contract is firm fixed price with award based on the Lowest Priced Technically Acceptable method. All offers must demonstrate technical acceptability by providing manufacturer documentation, part numbers, illustrations, warranty details, and a detailed delivery schedule meeting the 45-day performance period. The doors will be delivered and accepted at the installation site, with payment processed via Wide Area WorkFlow using the DoDAAC F87700, and invoicing must be submitted electronically through the WAWF system. Eligible vendors must be registered as a small business in SAM.gov and maintain current Entity IDs and CAGE codes. Site visits are scheduled for July 13, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. CDT, and access to the base requires a valid DoD ID or a previously approved Unescorted Access Request submitted no later than 10 days prior; failure to secure access is the offeror's responsibility.
