The National Research Council of Canada (NRC) requires services for the comprehensive maintenance and service for the proprietary Johnson Controls Metasys Building Automation System (BAS) installed at the Aluminium Technology Centre (CTA) in Saguenay. The existing BAS is a proprietary Johnson Controls Metasys system providing Direct Digital Control (DDC) monitoring and control of mechanical systems (heating, chilled water, air handling, variable air volume, fan coil units, unit ventilators, sensors, and actuators) and BAS supervisory servers. The system’s hardware, firmware, and software are exclusively owned and supported by Johnson Controls.
