FAA William J. Hughes Technical Center for Advanced Aerospace (WJHTC) Small Business Vendor Day & Matchmaking EventThe Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is hosting a Small Business Vendor Day & Matchmaking Event on Wednesday, July 8th, 2026, at the William J. Hughes Technical Center in Atlantic City, New Jersey. This event is designed to facilitate targeted networking opportunities between small businesses and FAA program officials, procurement decision makers, and potential business partners. Attendees will gain insights into FAA technical programs, laboratory services, acquisitions, and agency initiatives through a series of opening speakers, followed by a matchmaking session and concluding breakout sessions. The event aims to support small businesses registered in the System for Award Management, regardless of industry niche, fostering connections that can lead to future collaboration or procurement opportunities. Participation is by pre-registration only and is limited to two representatives per business, with no cost to attend. Vendor display tables are available on a first-come, first-served basis to the first 30 registrants interested in exhibiting. The matchmaking component allows registered firms to be matched with FAA program offices based on capabilities and needs, although one-on-one meetings are not guaranteed. Logistics include secure entry procedures, shuttle transportation from a designated parking area, and accommodations for disabilities with advance notice. The event also includes breakout sessions covering topics like construction vendor lists, innovation through verification and validation, aviation research funding, and small business partnerships, which require separate registration. Overall, this event offers a valuable platform for small businesses to engage directly with FAA officials and explore partnership and contracting opportunities within the aviation and aerospace sectors.
