These actuator assemblies are part of the C-5 NLG Door Actuation System. The NLG doors consist of two inboard doors and two outboard doors and are actuated separately from the gear. When the NLG is extended, the doors are held open by the actuators, and when the landing gear is retracted, the actuators close the doors to enclose the landing gear and streamline the aircraft.
This overhaul effort will utilize a Requirements Type Contract. Contract period of performance will be five (5) years. The Government owns the technical data package. Interested parties shall be registered in the Joint Certification Program and approved to view Export Control, and shall submit evidence of their certification in order to obtain the associated technical data packages.
To obtain copies of the bidset documents, an interested vendor shall be registered in the Joint Certification Program (JCP). Interested vendors are to request copies of the bidsets by providing their CAGE number to both Alyssa Tanner (alyssa.tanner.1@us.af.mil) and Stacylee Johnson (stacylee.johnson.1@us.af.mil) to verify registration in JCP. Upon verification, bidset zip files will be sent via the "DOD Safe" website.
