The procurement falls under NAICS code 541330 for Engineering Services and does not involve a competitive solicitation; instead, it is a notice of intent with a response window for third parties to submit challenges by May 14, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. CT via email to the designated Contract Specialist. No formal bid documents or evaluation factors are being issued, as the award is based solely on statutory authority and the unique qualifications of the incumbent contractor. The contract will be administered at the Royal C. Johnson Veterans Memorial Hospital in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, with inspection and acceptance conducted by the government at the performance location. A Justification and Approval document will be made publicly available after award, in compliance with FAR 6.301, and although no pricing details or line items are specified, the maximum potential value of the contract is capped at $5,000,000 under applicable regulations. The point of contact for all inquiries or submissions is Jennifer Smith, Contract Specialist, with no telephone responses permitted and no responsibility assumed by the government for costs incurred by responders.
