The Contractor is required to replace the existing smoke control system with a new system at Building 451 of Pleasant Valley State Prison in Coalinga, California, under a solicitation issued by the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation. The scope includes full design, engineering, submittals, installation, and programming of the new system to integrate seamlessly with the existing fire alarm, HVAC, dampers, exhaust fans, and control modules, adhering strictly to the International Building Code, NFPA 72 as adopted by the State Fire Marshal, and other applicable state and national codes. The Contractor must provide comprehensive documentation including design drawings for OSFM approval, a commissioning plan, test procedures, an issues log, a systems manual, and a commissioning report compiled from all test and inspection data. All materials must be delivered in original manufacturer packaging with intact, legible labels, and safety data sheets must accompany hazardous materials; products lacking proper identification may be rejected.
