California Plaza Phase II

The California Plaza Phase II project, also known as the United Cerebral Palsy Transit Storage Project (P26-002), is a development initiative by the City of Sacramento located on a 5.44-acre parcel at 2150 Harvard Street, Sacramento, California. The project involves obtaining a Conditional Use Permit and Site Plan and Design Review to establish a transit vehicle service, repair, and storage facility within the Office Building zone. Approved by the Planning and Design Commission on August 13, 2026, and finalized via a Notice of Determination on August 18, 2026, the project complies with CEQA standards and the Public Resources Code. The scope of work focuses on the southern 1.3-acre portion of the parcel and includes the development of 72 bus and van parking stalls and paved drive aisles. Key infrastructure improvements consist of additional lighting, increased drainage capacity, landscaping enhancements, and the installation of a 6,000 gallon above-ground fueling tank. The project is managed by the City of Sacramento Community Development Department with primary coordination through Senior Planner Charles Tschudin and COO Eric Ciampa.
