Full Description
The Transportation Security Administration (TSA), Contracting and Procurement (C&P), and Security Capability (SC) intends to issue a solicitation using other than full and open competition. Accordingly, the TSA intends to award a sole-source contract extension and ceiling increase to Leidos, Incorporated, 1750 Presidents Street, Reston, VA 20190. This contract will address requirements of the SC office for Checkpoint Screening Equipment Deployment Services.
The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement, within 15 days of posting this Notice of Intent. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This synopsis is not a request for competitive quotes. It is a notice that outlines the Government’s Intent to contract on a sole source basis with Leidos, Inc.
