The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers – New England District is issuing a Solicitation Notice for Chimney Repairs, Franklin Falls Dam, Franklin, NH.
THE WORK CONSISTS OF: Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials and equipment necessary to remove an existing stainless steel chimney liner and install a new stainless steel chimney liner for a wood burning stove. The Contractor shall also make repairs to the brick-and-mortar chimney and correct deficiencies outlined in the existing conditions section of this Statement of Work so the wood stove and chimney system will pass a certified chimney inspection. All products shall be installed in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations and to meet current codes for woodstove and chimney liner installation as listed in the References Section of this Statement of Work.
