AI Contract Overview
This contract opportunity seeks a new, non-refurbished Circular Geometry Machine (CGM) Roundness Tester to be delivered to the DLA Product Test Center’s Mechanical Lab in Columbus, Ohio, with full turnkey delivery, installation, calibration, and one day of on-site training for up to five technicians. The system must meet stringent technical specifications, including measurement accuracy of 0.0001 inch or better, capabilities for GD&T evaluations such as roundness, cylindricity, concentricity, and runout, automatic CNC centering and leveling, angle measurement, and generation of interactive digital reports. The equipment must be supplied as a complete system including all necessary hardware, software, computers, monitors, cables, and stands, with a mandatory one-year warranty covering all components from the date of installation. Delivery is required within 8 to 10 weeks of award, and all shipping costs must be included in the offeror’s price. The machine must be delivered to Building 17-3 at DSCC Columbus for receipt and then transported internally to Building 9, Section 1 for installation and validation. Invoicing must be submitted electronically through WAWF in compliance with DFARS clauses 252.232-7003 and 252.232-7006, and the Defense Finance and Accounting Service will handle payment using the DoDAAC SL0702. The government will conduct acceptance verification at the final installation site, and the contractor must coordinate all delivery and training activities with Tom Morley. No formal contract value is available at this stage, as this is a pre-solicitation notice; however, the evaluation will focus on technical compliance with all listed performance requirements, with no indication of an LPTA approach—instead, a trade-off between technical merit and price is anticipated. All interested parties must express interest by contacting Contracting Officer Elizabeth Dickstein, and formal proposals will be requested following the issuance of a solicitation with a response deadline of May 28, 2026. The NAICS code is 334516, and the performing organization is under the DoD's Defense Logistics Agency.
