Cleaning Services At Citiparks Centers

The City of Pittsburgh Office of Management and Budget, on behalf of the Department of Parks and Recreation, is soliciting bids for custodial and cleaning services at 26 Citiparks Centers, including Community Recreation Centers, Healthy Active Living Centers, and various program offices. The contract period runs from November 1, 2026, through October 30, 2028, with two one-year renewal options. Award will be granted to the lowest combined bid from a responsible bidder. Compliance is monitored through detailed cleaning checklists, and the City reserves the right to prorate payments for incomplete or unverified documentation. Bidders must meet strict insurance requirements, including general and automotive liability of $500,000 per occurrence and $1,000,000 aggregate, as well as statutory workers compensation. A performance and payment bond of 100 percent of the contract amount may be required. The City encourages participation from minority-owned, women-owned, and veteran-owned small businesses, with specific goals of 18 percent, 7 percent, and 5 percent, respectively. Payment terms are Net 45 days, and invoices must be submitted within 30 calendar days of work completion.
