Concession Contract for a New Major Music Festival

The City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council is seeking expressions of interest and proposals from experienced festival promoters and event organisers to develop and deliver a new major music festival at Myrtle Park, Bradford. This concession contract aims to establish a nationally recognised event that generates lasting cultural, economic, and community benefits for the Bradford District. The scope of work encompasses festival organisation, event services, and cultural event management, with a particular openness to proposals from small and medium-sized enterprises as well as voluntary, community, and social enterprises. The contract has an estimated total value of 2,500,000 GBP excluding VAT. The initial term is scheduled from 16 November 2026 to 15 November 2029, with the possibility of two one-year extensions extending the performance period to 15 November 2031.
