Concessionaire Services - Aquatic Center

The City of Modesto is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to provide concessionaire services at the newly constructed Aquatic Center in Chavez Park, which is set to open in May 2026. The facility will operate seasonally from Memorial Day through Labor Day and will feature amenities such as a water tower with five slides, a four-lane pool, and party rooms. The successful contractor will be responsible for operating an independent concession stand throughout the facility’s full hours of operation, offering a family-friendly and affordable menu that includes healthy options, catering primarily to children and families using the aquatic center for recreation. Proposals must be submitted electronically via the City’s OpenGov Procurement portal by 4:00 pm on March 4, 2026, and submissions in other formats will not be accepted. The concession stand will be equipped with various appliances including two reach-in refrigerators, a soft serve freezer, a countertop heated display case, beverage and coffee machines, a bullet oven, and a conveyor oven.
