Full Title: Eagle Rock Aggregates Oakland Terminal Project (Oakland Army Base Area Redevelopment Plan); (State Clearinghouse #2001082058) - Issuance of Authorities to Construct and Permits to Operate for Bulk Sand/Aggregate Receiving, Transfer & Loading, Sources S-1 through S-7 (Air District Application 30884). The Air District has issued Authorities to Construct to Eagle Rock Aggregates (ERA) for sources associated with a Bulk Receiving, Transfer, and Storage Terminal facility. The ERA Oakland Terminal Project proposes to construct and operate a marine terminal that would import, store, and distribute bulk construction aggregates (i.e. sand and gravel). The Project site is located in the Outer Harbor of the Port of Oakland and lies within the boundary of the Oakland Army Base (OAB) Area Redevelopment Plan. The Project site would utilize Berth 22 for vessel and barge operations and approximately 18 acres of Berth 20, 21, and 22 backlands for stockpiling and distribution of construction aggregates.
