LAHD - Addendum to the Cooperative Agreement among POLA, POLB, and SCAQMD

This project is an addendum to a cooperative agreement between the Port of Los Angeles, the Port of Long Beach, and the South Coast Air Quality Management District focused on developing zero-emission infrastructure for port-related operations within the San Pedro Bay Port Complex in Los Angeles, California. The primary objective is to implement three new incentive-based and funding measures specifically targeting zero-emission infrastructure for trucks and ocean-going vessels. The agreement defines the specific role of the South Coast Air Quality Management District during the development and implementation phases and establishes commitments to a public process, enforcement, and reporting. The activities outlined in this addendum are integrated into the five-year term of the original agreement. Administratively, the project is managed by the Los Angeles Harbor Department, with Lisa Wunder serving as the Director of Environmental Management. Additionally, the project has been declared categorically and statutorily exempt under CEQA sections 15306, 15061(b)(3), and 15262, as it is determined that the project will not result in any significant environmental impact.
