Conditional Use Permit - Class 6 wireless communication facility (File No. 00971864-PCPU)

Eukon Group, acting on behalf of AT&T, has obtained a Conditional Use Permit under File No. 00971864-PCPU for the installation of a Class 6 wireless communication facility. The project involves utilizing an existing Southern California Edison transmission tower located on the north side of Interstate 405 and the east side of Harvard Avenue in the City of Irvine, California. The scope of work includes the installation of the wireless facility on the tower and the placement of associated ground equipment within a concrete enclosure at the base of the structure. The City of Irvine Planning Commission approved the project on June 4, 2026, under Resolution No. 26-4077. This project is classified as a minor alteration of an existing permitted utility structure with negligible expansion of use, qualifying it for an exemption under CEQA Section 15301, Class 1 for Existing Facilities.
