Construction: Taylorsville High School Addition

The Granite School District is soliciting proposals for a General Contractor to manage the Taylorsville High School Addition project in Taylorsville, Utah. The scope of work includes the construction of new office, classroom, and athletics wings, as well as the remodeling of existing office and classroom spaces. Key interior improvements involve refreshing the commons area and cafeteria and consolidating two food labs into a single culinary arts lab. Exterior site improvements include the installation of new tennis courts, a softball press box, the relocation of batting cages, general landscaping, and the creation of a new curb and gutter for an ADA drop-off. Technical requirements specify the use of aggregate piers for soil improvement and composite open web floor joists for MEP traversal.
