Contracted Pharmacy Services

Integral Care is soliciting proposals under solicitation IC-RFP-2027-002 for a qualified pharmacy operator to assume primary responsibility for its existing Texas Class A closed-door community pharmacy in Austin, Texas. The selected contractor will implement a full-outsourcing model, managing pharmacy staffing, medication inventory, regulatory compliance, and billing and revenue-cycle operations. Key technical requirements include integration with the Netsmart electronic health record and adherence to the Texas Pharmacy Act, HIPAA, HITECH, and 42 CFR Part 2. The contractor must ensure uninterrupted medication access and provide a transition plan to achieve safe operational handover within approximately six months. The contract features an initial one-year term with up to three additional one-year renewal options at the discretion of Integral Care. Award selection is based on best value, specifically evaluating the proposer's competence, qualifications, and the reasonableness of the proposed fee, with financial sustainability and pricing accounting for 25 points of the evaluation. Proposers must submit a comprehensive pricing model via a provided rate sheet covering startup, ongoing operating, and optional services. Additionally, the contractor must maintain significant insurance coverages, including professional liability of 1 million dollars per occurrence and general liability with a 2 million dollar annual aggregate limit.
