Statement of Work for Ricoh Copier Maintenance A. PURPOSE The purpose of this Statement of Work (SOW) is to set forth the scope and standards for which the maintenance of the copiers will be conducted. B. TERM OF CONTRACT The intent of Sierra Army Depot (SIAD) is to enter into a one year contract to maintain multifunction copiers. C. SCOPE The contractor shall furnish all equipment, supplies, and service required to maintain copier services throughout the installation. Copiers deemed to have no further value to SIAD shall have their hard drives removed. The hard drive and the copiers will be transported to the Department of Information Management (DOIM) to be inspected prior to disposal by the contractor. The Government will properly dispose of the hard drive and the copier will then need to be disposed of by the contractor. D. GENERAL OVERVIEW SIAD currently has a total of 12 copiers that require service and maintenance. The contractor shall be responsible for relocation of copiers/print devices in the event that mission requirements change. This includes moving the copier to another location and connecting it to the Government provided LAN connection. The contractor shall be notified one week in advance and given a time frame for making the location change. It is not expected that mass movements of copiers will take place; however, from time to time one or two relocations may occur. E. SERVICE Service is to be provided on all copier equipment. All service calls shall be responded to within one business day, SIAD business days are four days per week Monday through Thursday, 06:30-17:00. Service shall include toner only - staples and paper are not required. Service shall include repair of all physical, mechanical or electrical components of the equipment. Additionally, a preventative maintenance schedule shall be established on a monthly basis for all units and submitted to the Point of Contact (POC) for coordination. Monthly reports shall be sent to the contracting office and POC identifying the maintenance or repairs that were made for that time frame. Maintenance response time shall be within 1 business day of an unscheduled maintenance call. If the requested response time is not feasible bidder can suggest in the bid their alternative response time. Please note: SIAD is located approximately 60 miles northwest of Reno, NV and approximately 45 miles south of Susanville, CA F. MACHINE PERFORMANCE All equipment maintained under this contract shall operate satisfactorily and produce acceptable copy quality at a 95% effectiveness level during any month within the one year performance period. The 95% effectiveness rating shall be determined by taking the number of business hours the unit is not operating at full capacity and dividing by the total business hours for that period. Copier equipment, which develops a trend of requiring multiple service calls in a contract year shall be reported to the contracting office and the POC for review. This report should include an analysis as to why the unit is requiring additional attention. SIAD may request a service report on any and all equipment they determine is experiencing excessive down time. The service contractor will be required to notify the POC if any machines reach a state where they can no longer be adequately maintained by the service provider. G. U.S. Army Contracting Command – Sierra Army Depot (ACC-SIAD) Organic Industrial Base (OIB) Modernization Commercial Solutions Opening (CSO)
Solicitation # W912GY-25-S-C001
The U.S. Army Contracting Command – Sierra Army Depot (ACC-SIAD) has issued solicitation W912GY-25-S-C001, a Commercial Solutions Opening (CSO) aimed at modernizing the Organic Industrial Base (OIB). Authorized under 10 U.S.C. 3458 and DFARS Subpart 212.70, this initiative seeks innovative commercial items, technologies, and services to enhance the speed of battle and force projection. Key focus areas include advanced manufacturing, agile and flexible facilities, connected digital enterprises, digital twins, automation, robotics, and cybersecurity. The solicitation is continuously open until June 30, 2030, and is available to both traditional and non-traditional defense contractors. The acquisition process is multi-phased, beginning with Solution Briefs, followed by presentations or pitches, and concluding with Commercial Solution Proposals (CSPs). Evaluation factors for pitches emphasize relevancy, technical merit, innovation, and various risk levels, including technical, price, schedule, business, and intellectual property risks. Final awards are intended to be fixed-price contracts managed under FAR Part 12 Commercial Item Procedures. Specific Areas of Interest (AoIs) are released periodically, such as a requirement for an innovative Roll Off Truck, and general focus areas include logistics modernization, airfield maintenance, and energy and environmental management. Prospective offerors must possess a Unique Entity ID (UEI), maintain an active registration in the System for Award Management (SAM), and register in the PIEE invoicing system. Technical proposals must be submitted separately from price proposals to ensure a blind technical evaluation. While foreign-owned businesses may participate independently or through teaming arrangements, they must be able to secure necessary clearances. All proprietary information must be clearly marked to ensure protection under 18 U.S.C. 1905, though such markings may limit the disclosure of data to government support contractors during the evaluation process.
