Coralville Lake, Sugar Bottom Water Tower Control Replacement The work includes but is not limited to the following: 1. (1) Operator Control Panel (To be mounted in the maintenance building) 2. (1) Main Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) Control Panel (Replaces existing outdated control panel in base of the water tower) 3. (1) Well Control Panel (Replaces existing outdated motor control panel at the well head) 4. Drawing and documentation package Panels shall be delivered pre-wired and factory tested and tested after installation is complete. The equipment must be assembled on site and connected together to control the existing water system. Two runs of controls conductors will need to be replaced. Approximately 700 to 900 feet from well head to tower, and 50 feet from the tower to the maintenance building. These runs shall be installed a minimum of 24" underground and in schedule 80 PVC conduit (if directionally bored) utilizing CAT6 cable. Conductors shall be of sufficient size and type for the application.
